MORTAL KOMBAT II
WHEN DAT: May 18, 2026
WHAT DAT: A sequel to the 2021 film, the actual Mortal Kombat tournament is finally about to pop the fuck off. Earthrealm’s fighters throw hands with Outworld in a blood-soaked interdimensional UFC where the rules are fake and everyone apparently knows how to give a giant fuck you to Newtonian physics.

Karl Urban as Johnny Cage
Hiroyuki Sanada as Scorpion
Ludi Lin as Liu Kang
Mehcad Brooks as Jax
Joe Taslim as Bi-Han / Noob Saibot
Lewis Tan as Cole Young

WHY THIS: Because the first movie, while surprisingly entertaining, totally blue-balled us with tournament hype for two hours and now we finally get the glorious nonsense we were promised - also Billy Butcher himself Karl Urban's debut as Johnny Gage could not be miss for all the raw flesh in Outworld.
MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE
WHEN DAT: June 5, 2026
WHAT DAT: Prince Adam stranded on Earth embraces the power of He-Man to defend Eternia from Skeletor and his nightmare rotation of never-ending evil CGI weirdos. Jared Leto as Skeletor *sigh*
Idris Elba as Man-At-Arms
Camila Mendes as Teela

WHY THIS: Because its been an embarrassingly long time since He-Man has bless the big screen and fantasy sci-fi with neon skull villains feels like a unlaced bump of... joy from 1987 we all absolutely crave right now - dont forget the high potential for abs.
DISCLOSURE DAY
WHEN DAT: June 12, 2026
WHAT DAT: Humanity discovers we may not be alone… and the government may have been sitting on cosmic receipts for decades. Spielberg returns to aliens, paranoia, and emotionally overwhelmed suburban dads in the most art-imitating-life film of 2026
WHO DAT:
Emily Blunt as Margaret Fairchild
Josh O'Connor as Daniel Kellner
Colin Firth as Noah Scanlon
Eve Hewson as Jane Blankenship
Colman Domingo as Hugo Wakefield
WHY THIS: Because nobody has the gift of making aliens feel whimsical as fuck and memorably horrifying at the same time as one Spielberg.

RESIDENT EVIL
WHEN DAT: September 18, 2026
WHAT DAT: Capcom’s zombie apocalypse gets rebooted once again. Shocker we know. WHO DAT:
Austin Abrams as Bryan
Zach Cherry as Dave
Kali Reis as Pauline
Paul Walter Hauser as Carl
WHY THIS: Well, I mean because why not? Having a cast of proven, yet not widely recognized actors may actually sell the drama of this film nicely - in addition BARE people are fixin to get ate up. It's truly the main reason to see any zombie or "Jurassic Park' movie in 2026.
